Education and biography
Education
- Studied Animation & VFX at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. - BFA, graduated in 2024
- During my education at the Academy of Art University, I explored a diverse range of 3D animation techniques, concentrating specifically on the art of compositing. At StudioX, I had the opportunity to work on various cinematic scenes in response to real client requests, acquiring valuable professional experience and honing my technical skills.
Professional experience
I began my career as a video editor at one of the largest online lecture companies in South Korea, where the significance of video editing is crucial in delivering high-quality educational content. In this fast-paced environment, I effectively managed the diverse demands of various instructors while handling rapid updates for course materials. My strong attention to detail consistently resulted in exceptional outcomes, often exceeding educator expectations, leading to my recognition as the top performer shortly after joining the team.
At my university's StudioX, I had the opportunity to work in a professional-like setting, collaborating with directors and clients on CG for films. During high-pressure situations with urgent shot requests, I showcased my reliability and commitment, diligently completing tasks and gaining the trust and respect of my peers.
Additionally, I served as an Operations Specialist in the South Korean Navy, where I thrived in a high-stress environment. I maintained a strong sense of responsibility and focus, approaching challenges systematically and calmly. My role often involved computer-related tasks, and I became adept at troubleshooting issues such as computer repairs and internet problems. This experience greatly developed my concentration, problem-solving skills, and ability to remain composed under pressure.
